So, a couple weeks ago Dean and I were joking around about getting a new puppy! Something for Peanut to play around with while we are gone and on trips and everything else!  Well, we didnt think we would actually get one, but I found a guy who was selling labs for the right price…and they were SOOO cute!!

So, I called Dean and asked him what he thought and sent him some pictures of the one I picked out!  Dean said let’s do it!!

When I got her she was almost 8 weeks…and she’s almost 10 weeks!! She’s so cute and sassy!! Peanut loves her to! Except he gets SOOOO jealous!!  I swear it’s like I have a toddler and an infant! 

I did a mini-photoshoot in the backyard to show everyone what a cute little thing she is! 

 

Ok, so I’m a couple days late…but dont worry, I didnt forget!! I’m just a bad blogger!

My husband turned 26 last Saturday!! YAY  HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEANO!!!  So, I thought it would be fun to share 26 random facts about him! 

1. He loves to fly <– this is no secret…he dreams, sleeps, eats airplanes and flying.

2. He has to watch 5 shows at a time. When our DVR is ‘live’, he goes crazy during commercials and has to flip through at least 5 shows at a time! It drives me nuts!!  lol

3. He cant sit still while talking on the phone.  Good thing he flys!! He wouldnt last being in an office for 8 hours a day and sitting in a chair while on the phone!! He walks back and forth and back and forth while he’s on the phone!! Once, he walked down the street while talking to his mom!

4. He loves Black Cherry Water – only the Sam’s Club brand! lol  He buys them in bulk….I spend my days picking up empty bottles all over the house!

5. His socks HAVE to match.  Me – I dont care, as long as the lengths are the same, I’m good.  Dean…well, he has to have the same stitching, lenth, trim….everything!!

6. He is Facebook illiterate!  He has one so we can keep in touch when he travels, but most of the time I have to walk him through it or remind him to comment back to someone!

7.  He has a 7 yr old brother!! It’s too funny because people think that he (Justin) belongs to Dean all the time!

8.  He’s addicted to toys.  Like, big-boy toys!! RC helicopters and airplanes…gaming systems, dirt bikes, mountain bikes, hand guns….you NAME it!

9. He loves pizza <– enough said

10. My little neice adores Dean!! <3  The way he is around her makes me know he will be a great dad one day!

11. He got his pilots license when he was 16!! Such a ambitious man!

12.  He actually knows alot about photography!  I’m a self-taught photographer, when Dean reads manuals, books, etc.  He’s my backup when I cant figure something out

13.  We had our first kiss at a Pat Green concert.  He was talking to another girl at the concert…and I walked up and just kissed him!  hehe We had about 5 years of flirting to go along with it!

14. He proposed to me in South Padre, TX!  He suprised me with a private plane, and flew the 2 of us to the beach and proposed on a rooftop restaurant!

15. Everyone loves him!  I know, I sound biased…but it’s so true!  I havent come across anyone who doesnt like him!  Well, except the guy he got in a wreck with.  (it was the other guys fault, but of course he blamed dean)

16. He’s Mexican blooded!  LOL  not really, but he eats like it!  He doesnt like spicy food, at all!! But he will tear up a mexican restaurant!

17. He’s driven Troy Aikman’s car!  When we first moved to Dallas, Dean got a job at Million Aire fueling and moving airplanes.  He got to drive some outrageously nice cars, including Troy Aikman’s!

18. He is one of the most passive people I’ve ever met!  I like to say what’s on my mind, when it’s on my mind. Dean….he just says “eh, it’s alright” and moves on!  lol

19. He snores…BADDDD.  I can not express how bad his snoring is!  When we all stay at his Grandmother’s house for Christmas, everyone in the whole house can hear him! It’s THAT bad!

20. He is an incredible pilot.  Everyone says so!! He even had a crash landing that October, and handled it perfectly! The owner of the airport was bragging about how great he was!

21. He played the trombone in Jr High!  hehe  too cute!  Unfortunately, that’s not where we met since he quit before I moved there, but he played in Jr High!

22. He was my chemistry partner in High School!  That’s how we met! We definately cheated off of each other the whole year, stole supplies (dont worry, we returned them) and passed notes the whole year! 

23. He was on the golf team in High School.  HAHA  I used to make fun of him all the time because he walked around with a golf club! 

24. He’s only 6 foot!  People swear he’s taller…but we’ve measured him!! 6″0!

25.  He has gorgeous green eyes. They look brown when you first look at them….but if you look closely, and in good lighting…they are a gorgeous green!

26. He’s my best friend!  He has been for 10 years now and will be for the rest of my life!  He is always there for me when I need him and I am the same for him.  He knows me better than I know myself.  He is my world…my rock. I wouldnt be complete without him!)

I havent been on here much lately, especially after the changes for my Utah clients.

I recently took a trip back to Texas to photograph Dean’s cousin’s wedding.  (Expect pictures REALY soon)  I also got to do 2 portrait sessions while I was there.  One, you have already seen….(Claire and Cole) and the other one will be posted soon!!

For about 10 years now, my husband has been BEGGING for a dirt bike.  All his buddies have one…and he’s always wanted one!! Well, this past week…we got one!!!  TWO actually!  We got a KX250 for my husband and a RM100 for me!! I have a Honda CR85 a few years ago, but I had to sell it  It’s been alot of fun, so far!!  I have a few bruises and road rash up my arm….but I’m getting the hang of it again! Sorry about all the links…lol

Anyways, I dont have much more to say…but stay tuned for some great photos!! I’ve been a crazy photgraphin’ fool!
