I have a few people ask me time and time again what’s the point of bridals, or what are bridals!? Well, I simply explain that they are a time for me to take photos of the bride in her dress without all of the nerves that come on the wedding day! I take time to photograph all of the simple details of the dress, veil and anything else! It’s also a great time for the bride to “test run” her dress, veil, hair and makeup…and even the bouquet!!
For my bridals, we realized the color of the flowers we used were totally wrong than what we wanted, so we had to order different shades of pink (you know, because all pinks aren’t alike ;)) So, I’m so glad I got a chance to test run everything myself. Also, the day of the wedding is so crazy and hectic (and go by SO fast) – it was nice not to have to worry about getting photos of my dress on the wedding day….we already had it taken care of!
Also – all the brides I have photographed that have chosen a bridal session display their bridals at the reception! Such a sweet thing for everyone to look at while they wait for the bride & groom to arrive.
Anyways, back to Sarah. Here are her awesome bridal photos! She is so gorgeous and I just loved hanging out with her and her mom to take these and get to know them a little more! I am a huge sucker for a beautiful bride, in her gown….and in black and white, haha! So, bare with me on the b/w blow up!
